Objective
Create a durable framework for unifying components across Intuit’s product portfolio. Improving brand consistency, usability and the overall designer efficiency.
Approach
Defined various button states, button pairing combinations, dropdown buttons, split buttons, icon buttons, badges, iconography, choice controls, tiles, and cards.
Collaborated with the Intuit Design Systems team to develop and implement the framework.
Provided feedback and input as the voice of QuickBooks to ensure alignment with product needs.
Conducted usability testing and iterated on components based on user feedback.
Outcomes
Established a consistent design language across Intuit's product portfolio as part of a durable framework for establishing Intuit wide components.
Improved design efficiency by 1% across a 600 designer team leading to a 12,000 hour cost savings.
